Appearance
Irith is about average height for a human woman, with a lithe frame that has gained toned muscle from years of fighting, narrow escapes and traveling. Her shaggy, dark brown hair is often unkempt and tends to fall into her face quite a bit. She has curious jade eyes that often attempt to take in every detail of the things around her, helping her maintain situational awarness. Her skin is quite tan, likely from a combination of both sun exposure and heritage, and covered in various scars from years of her rough and tumble lifestyle.
She tends to wear clothes that are of dark and earthy tones and allow for ease of movement over protection. Anything that's too heavy or creates too much noise when she moves is a no-go. Her clothes are often at least a little dirty and quite broken in.
Personality
Irith is hard to peg. She's tomboyish, rarely serious, and often talks about herself with delusions of grandeur. She's self-assured yet not vain, cocky yet knows full well that she's not superman.. unless she's joking about it. She loves to drink and tell stories about her various exploits, often embellishing them quite a bit. Irith's ego is fragile, however. After losing a fight to a wraith, Irith's been more quiet and reserved while she attempts to come to a solution.
Bio
Irith's parents were both dead before she even really got to know them. Irith doesn't consider it tragic, she never knew her mother- she died during childbirth, and she certainly never really got to know her father- he was constantly gone or leaving her with 'friends' up until She turned about nine. Then his debts got too high, the thugs broke down the door and they slit his throat right in his own home.
Thankfully, Irith had been left with one of her father's drinking buddies at the time. The man tried to raise her, but Irith got stricken with wanderlust at quite a young age and quickly ran away from 'home'. From here, the other street children raised her, taking her in as one of their family- they were all children of Morroc's corruption and general lawlessness.
They taught her how to fight, how to steal, how to survive in the harsh environment. This of course, would've normally hardened just about anyone's personality. No home, growing up in a street gang- but not Irith. Irith pretty much stayed the child she was when she first joined them- rambunctious, a head full of dreams, and a want for adventure.
Irith left to see the world at age fifteen. She went everywhere the boats and airships and caravans would take her. One thing that caught her eye on these adventures were the (fictional, unknown to her) adventures of the infamous 'Izlude Jones', an everyday archaeologist turned treasure hunter that were chronicled in the Juno library. This planted the seed of what would become a lifelong obsession with tracking down the rarest treasure, and going on the greatest adventures.
Irith's world tour, financed by those unfortunate enough to fall for her tricky and illegal behavior finally came to an end whenever she finally arrived in Shyden, which seemed quaint enough to be her home.. at least temporarily. She'd never been too good at that 'staying in one place' thing before, and who knows where her wanderlust will take her next?
