Merrivale is the home of the elves, west of Geffen. A good handful of humans and other races dwell here as well, but elves are the dominant race. It is where most go to learn the secrets of necromatic soul linking, a divine art of the mind and soul perfected by the elves. The artistic architecture of the city is as timeless and ancient as the elves themselves; the city boasts of a rich culture riddled with enigmas long protected by its people.

It is an excellent retreat for open-minded philosophers. People of all races and religions live here, studying and supporting one another in their conquest for knowledge yet not disturbing the balance of magic, nature and life.
