The Ultimate Balance
Time has neither beginning nor an end; for aeons and millenias the basic shape of life called Energy has circulated the Empyrean One and the Non-Existance for as long as they can remember, the two phenomenons balancing out each other in perfect harmony for eternity. The Universe is the everything, movement, vitality; it is the infinite space where the Gods and their creations dwell and live, being the ultimate form of Life. On the other hand, the Non-Existance is the nothing, empty, hollow; it is the infinite space where all life, including the Gods, perish and degrades down to the simplest form in existance, being Energy, and returned back to the Empyrean One, thus making it the ultimate form of Death.
With this, the first Balance of Life and Death was formed.
How Everything came to be

Just like any world, Advent has people who worship gods and have tales to tell each other about the mysteries of life: who are we? Why are we here? What is our purpose?
There is a story about how the world of Advent was created, how the gods came to be, how the races came into existence and why we have the power of magic. The story in all of its truth without the slightest shred of lie, is said to be known by no living being. Rather, all people are only enlightened partly of what the truth is; passing down a story missing fragments to their children, and their children after them, and onward.
This is the complete story of Advent, and no being of Advent knows all of this tale in its fullness. This isn't all completely necessary to read, since it is rather a lot. However, this is here for you to read so you don't end up making your character seem nonsensical or strangely ignorant of some basic things in Advent!
